The Givenchy show is spectacular. Both clothing and racial diversity

Yeah Riccardo redeemed himself with this cast. However, one has to wonder if it's because there was some ethnic inspiration to the garments

I was watching the new ads on ftv and there were barely any blackmodels the very few I saw included Cindy Bruna who lookd like a prop in the Michael Kors ad

This couture season was atrocious in terms of diversity. Versace featured 4 ethnic girls out of 40, Bouchra Jarrar featured 1 asian girl out of 20-something, Yiqing Yin didn't feature any ethnic girls at all, and that's not even talking about the smaller brands. La Perla and JPG were the only ones with a decent cast this season. What a step back...

^ad campaigns, Mens fashion week... it was all super disappointing for casting. I think casting directors, stylists and designers just don't care.

Super happy though for Aya, Binx, Cindy, Joan, and Jourdan. All girls scored at least 1 major campaign this season, though its not enough.

Gotta give props to Zac Posen
ALek Opening and Naoimi Closing.
Grace, Lais, Riley Montana, Ming Xi, Herieth, Maria Borges, and some others I don't recognize.
Didn't like the collection but I doubt you'll see more black models in a show unless Givenchy has an ethnic theme.

Zac usually comes through with a diverse cast, I respect him for that.

Yeah Zac is pretty consistent with having a diverse cast. Also consistent are Diane von Furstenberg and Thom Browne. Rag & Bone also had a nice balance of diversity as well.
