if Toni really joins VS, it's good for her now bottleneck and the VS angel cast. it's no doubt Toni has the HF face, as you saw her first performance last year, she's truly sexy and know how to play especially comparing with other new girls.

doesnt it seem like ever sense Maryna switched agencies shes been featured a lot less in VS related things? I thought she had the potential to be the next angel, but you cant beat Toni

I would like to see Bregje and Toni as the new angels, replacing Lindsay and Lily A. Erin Heatherton does do much for me either.

I think I heard it was Anna BB's choice not to be an Angel but might be wrong
I always had a crush on Emanuela so I would have been over the moon if she was an Angel, I just find her purely stunning

So is Adriana still gonna be preggers for this years show? I personally wouldn't mind seeing Adriana and Alessandra sitting out this year. Just to see some of the other angels step up and get all of the attention. It would be a great test for Candi and Erin, since they seem to be the "future" for VS.

I would have loved nothing more than to see Maryna becoming an Angel, but in all fairness she started working for them in 2008, if they were going to anoint her an Angel it would have happened almost instantly, VS don’t waste time. If the rumours about Toni are true look how fast that all happened.

Maryna is (IMO) one of the few great runway girls over at VS...personally I don’t think any of the angles are that impressive catwalkers, the only Angels I can think of that had any sort of real presence on the runway are Gisele, Tyra, Karolina and sometimes, when she isn't being to camp and OTT Adriana...all the other girls are just meh!

...but i'm guessing runway ability must play a very small part in the overall Angel criteria.

Not really. Marisa and Ale both have been working a lot for VS long time before they were made vs angels, same with Miranda I think.

Especially as so many other girls who started walking the show 07/08/09 became angels.

I love Maryna and I think her walk is one of the best but I think if VS wanted her as an Angel she would already be one.

I'd say after her first show in 2007, yep. But you said it does not take long for vs to make someone an angel so for Marisa it took a long time since 2002 or so until 2007

Anyways, I'd love to see Maryna as vs angel. With vs you never know. I don't think if they "didnt make Maryna angel yet they wont do it" - anything is possible. Besides what vs wants there is also "what a model wants" and as crazy as it may sound not each model dreams to become vs angel.

That’s very true...quite a few girls have turned down a contract, which just boggles my mind. Why would anyone want to turn down something that’s that lucrative?

Ever since this whole Toni thing’s been announced I’ve been watching a lot of her videos on You Tube and I have to say, I’m growing to like the idea of her as an Angel more and more.

...and I think I was wrong about another girl leaving to make room for her, if anything she’s probably Rosie’s replacement. Don’t know why that didn’t occur to me before.
