Regarding VS and payment--
It depends on what type of stuff the model is going to be doing in the catalog like lingerie, clothes, PJs, swim
But VS "tests" girls before they actually move forward and book them for the catalog and they pay for the tests. If I recall correctly, they pay 4000 for the test and then it goes up from there depending on what you're booked for...

Well said, I still find it hard to believe that the women said that, so unbelievably unprofessional, I’m guessing she wasn't expecting Kate to reach the level of success and fame she has in such a short amount time.

...Also i think Candice tweeted a picture of herself from a fitting of one of her outfits, she had on a 'bow' wing. looked cute....
