Karlie is not sexy at all, she's like this superDoll, but for couture, and her walk i don't see it in any way in VS fashion Show...
BTW I'd love to see more Russian/Polish/Estonian, and easterneuropean models !!

Yes the main angles/contract girls are the exception, but everyone else is fair game. And since we are at it, this isn't the thread to talk about model walks, so if you go up to the search bar, you can be on your way

i'll be really sad if Jourdan doesn't make it! she'd be awesome in VSFS!!!

i hear what everyone is saying about the current Angels... but i gotta say that i'm a HUGE fan of Rosie, Candice, Miranda and Doutzen (not to mention Adriana and Ale). they're all just gorgeous and awesome! i even love Chanel and i think she's perfect for the PINK! line. the problem is that none of these models really has a massive presence OUTSIDE of their work with VS. yes, Miranda is dating a movie star and both her and Ale have made giant leaps into high fashion. but it's just a recent thing ... it's not a built-up credibility and sense of exclusivity that comes with the more fashiony models. and Rosie will be a massive star for them next year - but Transformers 3 isn't out yet. so she's not there as of now.

i just think that this time is not for supermodels. Tyra and Heidi were truly the last of the purely commercial, swimsuit/lingerie SUPERMODELS. (*and yes, i think they were both supermodels, despite their lack of HF work*). they were at the end of a long line of famous SI girls like Rebecca Romijn, Laetitia Casta, Niki Taylor, Elle MacPherson, Kathy Ireland, Rachel Hunter, Christie Brinkley, etc etc. women that men all over the world lusted after. but now, with the internet - and celebrity bikini candids and countless images of girls in next-to-nothing .... it's just difficult to stir up any sort of special excitement about seeing a model in a bikini. it's only a real STORY if the model is already famous. but it's nearly impossible to create a superstar.

this is why i think the only route VS can really take, is to hire on Angels who are already considered supermodels in the fashion world, but who also have the great personalities needed to be spokesmodels for a massive corporation. this way, the models come with a respect and credibility - because they've already conquered an arena in their field. they've already proven to be captivating and talented. and that's when it could potentially help launch a career into the stratosphere. really Gisele and Karolina are the only 2 that they've done that with. the problem with KK was that she just stopped working in high fashion as soon as she got that multi-million dollar contract with VS. and so she lost credibility in the industry. (*though thankfully they seem to have welcomed her back this year!! which makes me so happy*).

I want to see KK become an angel again (she's only 26), she is a true star. Chanel, Erin and some of the other girls are just wannabes

Apart from Ale, Adriana and Miranda, Candice is the only one with star potential.
