IMO nobody will get to the star status of the supermodels of the 90's though. People aren't interested in models like they used to be.

If this year was a good year for the 90s style supermodel Marija would be a good choice, IMO. Inguna, and possibly Bianca, also show indications of having that photogenic yet undoubtedly stunning quality a 90s supermodel should have. But Marija is the only one I feel sure is SM material. She's even charming, composed, regal and speaks English well. Perfect.

Marija = Cindy/Gia
Inguna = Paulina Porizkowa
Bianca = Linda Evangelista

I can't really see Christy and Claudia right now. Stephanie would be Jeisa....and Isabeli, well, would be Isabeli - she's got a lot of star quality, but she may be too wild for people to handle, actually maybe she's a modern day Janice Dickinson.

i think daria has what it takes to be big, but not as big as and of the above. Gemma is already quite big, but not out of modelling.

Nowadays the faces come and go, like an assembly line process without any future Kate Moss or Cindy Crawford prospects. Maybe one day the supermodel era will return?

yes. i forgot cintia...how could i!! she's so gorgeous and different i think she really deserves to go further. I'd love Tiuu to, but i don't think she will unfortunately. hope she does though.

^^oh, and yes, i agree with your theory perlefine. i wish the models would stick around, they never do anymore. like Natalia V; she was big for what, three seasons, and then she wasn't. it's a shame, but i guess it leaves the door open for others.

If you think about it (don't shoot me) kate moss is one of the plainest looking people aver. she has great skin, body etc, photographs well and can adapt, but she is very plain. to be big you need to be a chameleon. if you have a very different look, then you'll go out of style. it is a fashion business anyway.

i'd have to say no one...like most already said, no one cares about supermodels the way the used to...actually thats a misnomer coz supermodels dont really exist any more. the closest is giselle...lots of ppl know her, esp b/c she is dating leo. but other than that, b/c of the industry nowadays, i dont think its possible for anyone to have the appeal of a cindy, naomi, etc
