Why do people hate Kate Moss?

Today I visited this site in order to get her new W pics and I noticed that people hate her, why?, she was quite popular before, in a good way, but now it has changed, that's pretty sad 'cause I love her.

the article says "Guess who's pretending to be Marilyn Monroe?"

and people wrote:

- She's no Marilyn. She's f**king ugly.

- Marilyn never looked so trashy.

- HAHAHAHA she wishes!

- I guessed it was her by her her widely-spaced dead eyes.

- KATE MOSS DOES NOT LOOK PRETTY!

- classy. *sarcasm*

- STOP IT. YOU DO NOT LOOK LIKE AND WILL NEVER BE MARILYN MONROE. GIVE IT A F**KING REST AND STOP INSULTING HER AND EVERYONE THAT LOVES HER!

- Kate must have missed the memo that to impersonate Marilyn, you have to be pretty and have a thing called "curves."

I think they don't hate her per se...it's the insult to Marilyn that they have gripes with. They might have felt that the photoshoot was done in poor taste especially since Kate Moss aesthetically doesn't exude the same qualities as Marilyn - curves, blonde bombshell etc.

In a way I actually Marilyn had this vurious vulnerability that I also see in Kate so the photoshoot wasn't so bad for me. Other ppl will think otherwise. I think photoshoots impersonating icons like Marilyn, Audrey etc. are bound to come up for criticism - I mean it's such a high benchmark to match!

What a loser, it's not like it's her job, and it's not like she got art direction or paid to do it or anything!

I think its cause she was trying to imitate someone of a different class and one that people certainly love and worship. To have her pretend to be in the same vibe as monroe was itself an insult to them. Personally though I really dont think kate moss is good looking at all. She just plain isnt attractive exotic or unique to me.

The people who are insecure enough to call her trashy etc. seem to be jealous to me.

The other people (secure people) just don't find Kate to be their particular taste.

I love her, but I don't like other "icons" like Sienna Miller so I can understand it; to each his/her own.

In my very humble opinion, I think it was a mistake to style her as Marilyn, Kate has nothing to do with Marilyn Monroe or Brigitte Bardot, they were traditional beauties with exquisite features and voluptuos bodies, Kate Moss?, well, she's Kate Moss

, a popular woman but not a beauty, IMO.

It is odd to have cast Kate who was initially known for her "heroin chic" look when Marilyn Monroe was anything but.

People hate Kate Moss for the same reasons they hate any other model. It's all about personal preferences. I don't hate her or consider her ugly, I'm just tired of seeing her every time I open up a magazine.
