i went to the expanded poor little rich girl in davis square! it was great! i tried on an azzedine alaia lace up skirt for 20$ but it was too small. it has the largest dressing rooms ive seen around here too.
they have a lot of items...even large sizes too.
check it out!

who else didn't know that everything on the second floor of the garment district was 50% off this weekend??? i'm completely kicking myself. but-tomorrow is going to be all fresh stuff!

i knew about it...but i was just there last week and i didnt find anything.
i plan on going there on thursday to check out the new items.

the next time they'll do the 50% off thing is in the summer.

the first floor has been taken over by the boston costume store that was originally in the theatre district.

if you mention lucky magazine at history vintage on mass ave you get 20% off through the end of june.

I finally went to History in Cambridge (as mentioned by lucy ). It's so adorable; I love the stories that accompany each piece. I took some pics and did a write up for my blog. Here's a sampling of the goods...

I've actually had such great luck with the Goodwill in Roxbury - it's HUGE! And extremely well-organized/stocked.

a big new goodwill is having a grand opening this week!!

its on commonwealth avenue right by Boston University. (i believe the address is 965)

can't wait to check it out...

I have a question for all my fellow Bostonians, Which flea markets do you go to?
I want to rent a booth to sell vintage clothes at one weekend this summer. What are the best flea markets to do so?

maybe the south end open market.

theres also the brimfield flea market in harvard, ma but i think it costs a lot of money to have a booth there...
