Does anybody know what's going on with Pineal Eye? They're website has been taken down and is being used for a search engine/web site builder. It hasn't closed up has it?
HI SCOTT

I have a horrible suspicion that it HAS !!

Perhaps someone actually based in London could confirm or deny this ?

If it has closed , WHAT A LOSS !!!!

Regards , in sorrow , KIT [/b][/quote]
absolutely not its still open for sure

i dunno whats going on with the website, i can ask for you next time i go

prince of cats......i had a dream last night that you invited me to the launch of your menswear collection and it was SO good.....and i tried on some trousers and tops and decided i looked good in them and demanded them for free
you told me the inspiration for the collection was 'butlers' enough of my wierd dream

SURELY you cannot afford to indulge yourself at Browns' sale after buying that white Gucci trenchcoat and those white shoes !!!
Overdrafts were invented to be taken out

Maybe Pineal Eye's website wasn't profitable enough and they decided to go for high-street retail only?
HI Prince of Cats

Rather you than me !!!

STILL , there's the YVES SAINT LAURENT RIVE GAUCHE short , dark brown leather jacket , IN MY SIZE , in the FLANNELS sale in Manchester AND IT'S NOT YET GONE even though it's 50% off !!!

Do you think I should have a word with the bank manager ?

regards KIT

THANKS A MILLION for the info , SEAN

It's good news , as I feared it had folded . There was a report on WGSN that a large number of shops in Milan will fold this year , due to the recession , and I thought that THE PINEAL EYE had suffered a fate worse than death , for the same reason .

You are a real good scout , keeping an eye on everything for us , down there in the metropolis .

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !!!

regards KIT

i remember being in the browns sale shop and practically bouncing with joy when i found the undercover "scab" trousers but then trying them on and making the realisation that no amount of pigging out would get me to fit into a medium!

Many thanks Acid and the rest

If I were to go to Europe in March I was planning to make a visit to London and of course that shop was on top of my agenda.

Mind you, they never updated the site although I was holding on to a glimmer of hope. They probably just lost their server and are designing a new one.

Do they have a nice flow of customs?

I went on line today in the morrning and saw the sale was on so I put some things in my shopping bag that were on sale /again 30% off ONLY/ then I had to go, later on I went back and there was no sale at the same items. I could believe it!!!!!!!!!! What is going on?

RIP Pineal Eye
BAD NEWS FOLKS

I have it on good authority - a friend of PE's principal buyer - that The Pineal Eye closed down last week (w/c 13th Aug)!

A sad thing for London fashion.

Boo hoo.

Is it normal for Browns (the webstore) to take forever to reply? I think I've contacted three different Brown emails..and nadda..

Oh thanks for that Meg. Sounds weird I know but I placed an order 13 days ago from Browns online and have had no word about it, not the shipping notification or number or anything (which I was told would happen within 3 days)... and it is a substantial amount of money too so I am pretty worried! Yet it has been deducted from my card I've had no answer to my three emails, either. Not sure whether to call them, I live in Australia so it would be difficult.

Taking 3 days to tell you something has sold out is appalling. After 13 days, if I am told that, I am going to be PISSED!
