I just got back from Barney's earlier and its AMAZING! They do need to check their racks because there are a lot of misplaced pieces. Like the Junya on the Tao rack or the Balenciaga on the Narcisco rack But they did have that $10,000 by Balenciaga there! It was in a case though They had a few pairs of that blue jacket with the chain...its $2,700+ The rack that caught my attention was the Lanvin rack. AMAZING PIECES! The final thing that I loved was the Benhaz Sarafpour rack. Many cute things were there!
The "best" mens store in Chicago to me would be Barney's New York and Neiman Marcus. Its because of their selections. I prefer Barney's above all the rest because of its chic atmosphere and its abstract, yet cool selection for menswhere. You can also try Saks 5th Ave. They have a few unique things
how about independent menswear boutiques... i dont care much for the large dept. stores! I am looking for unique things..not the boring silk screened t-shirt look!

Try George Greene and Chasalla on Oak Street. They have nice things for men.
This is so cool! Today i went into Ikram Chicago and I saw Ikram Goldman herself! I wanted to talk to her, but she was on the phone Oh well...i wanted to tell her to carry menswear!
Reviving the thread! What's new in Chicago? I should be there in a week, if there's any hope! However, I'm sure that all of the 'good stuff' will be gone...but I need this trip. I'll just keep convincing myself how bad this season's clothes are.

IM HOPING DIOR OR BALENCIAGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH DEAR OH DEAR! well if someone has any idea let me know!

JJohnson, do you know any nice vintage/thrift shops in chicago? Such as stores that sell the cheap vintage, but not the collectable high priced vintage clothing. Thank you
