First store was for trendy clothes, second store is gonna have more dressed-up, professional clothes too.

i hear rumors the downtown H&m will be located near or east of university and theres huge vacant place next to st james united church, could this be the new location of the upcoming downtown h&m we've all been waiting for???

"Lucy Van del Wall, president of H&M Canada, couldnt contain her excitement when she announced a few weeks ago that retail space was finally found on the most coveted street in the province [st-catherine]. After a few months of renovations, the store with Swedish roots is due to welcome its first customers in all 2008. "We'll have a few levels. It stimulates people's curiosity," confides the director of the downtown Montreal location."

It be nice, have one open downtown. Seeing the one in Pte. Claire does not have mens wear. I do not like going to Rockland.

Really disappointed with H&M, the worst stuff ever (from the cuts to the fabrics).

Zara is like 100000000 times better.

I will have too go check it out, when it opens.

I was walking in that area, Saturday night. Now I know which building you are talking about. It use to have a store Acme, which was opened by a "Chuck", I forgot his last name. Which use to be one of the partners that came up with Lithium Manufacturing.

That part of St Catherine has so many stores now.

Second half of this year. They take possession of the building from Tristan in March.

Sephora is suppose to be opening in that area later this year as well. I wonder where the 2nd store is going to be!
