I just heard that there will be 2 H&M stores downtown.

One at 440 St Catherines Ouest and one at 1100 St Catherines Ouest (near Cours Mont Royal)

Not sure. Someone saying one will be for adults or what not and the other for younger clients.

La Presse has an article about it. The big three floor H&M near Peel is for men, women, and teens. Opens in August. A couple of weeks later, the other one opens. Which will be just for young people.

^^ oooh, yes! seconded on both count!

I didn't know they were opening two H&Ms downtown! Must. not. succumb to temptation when school starts again... McGill is literally smack in the middle of the two locations

Regarding the possible future downtown Sephora,

From The Gazette a few weeks ago:

Quote:
"I would love for it to be larger and carry more lines,'' Beaudoin said. "It would be great to have one downtown."
Marie-Christine Marchives, VP for Sephora Canada, said it was difficult to find the proper space for a Sephora downtown: It requires at least 5,000 square feet of uninterrupted space. That's just not available at the moment on Ste. Catherine St., the company's preferred location, she said. "We are working on it. It's a priority."

Haven't we heard this before?
WHAT A JOKE.
Will we have to wait 3 years to see a downtown Sephora the way we waited for the H&M, Mango, and less importantly, the Apple store, Banana Republic, etc?

i can't wait till the three floors h&m opens!! it's right next to my workplace, i could shop during my lunch break bwahaha! i'm guessing soooo many people will go there though, and i am getting tired of big crowds.

ettebee and lady.stardust, i agree for uniqlo and top shop!!! i'd love both those stores to open here. although, there is already a (very trashy) store in place montreal trust called top shop, wonder what will happen.
