I have not! I haven't been to a thrift store since I was a kid. My aunt used to bring us to a bunch of places in Rigaud/Hudson when we were kids. We used to love going through everything.
There are also a bunch of places along St-Denis, lots of vintage stores. Probably slighly more expensive though. My hairdresser told me about this one that sells vintage glasses but I never remember the name of it. Anybody know which I'm talking about? |

Anywhere in general you would recommend? I'm dying to get some unique stuff here! I live in NDG actually, but I have a metro pass and it's better if I don't know where something is so I can explore the city even more
It's very greatly appreciated! |

I don't thrift shop. So I can't offer personal recommendations. But I remember seeing a secondhand shop on Pine ave east of St-Laurent but before St-Denis. Can't remember the name.
If you go there, check out Le marché de Mtl also on Pine just east of St-Laurent. I've been to this place and it's a small boutique that sells new stuff. But they have a rack of secondhand clothes, and all around the cash area, the shoes are also used. Another place in the area is Memento. It's on St-Denis below Pine. |

if you can, try the winners at marche central. the shoe section is HUGE. about double the one downtown i'd say!! the whole store in general is huge so... XD i think those in laval (like mega-centre notre-dama or the one near centre laval) are pretty good as well!

^ What is TNT?
Anyways, the winners downtown isn't that bad...... Went today and they had like tons of really nice stuff, found a pair of Miu Miu sunglasses at 34$, really nice classic Chanel frames for so cheap too.... They also had really nice well cut Calvin Klein minimalist coats for like 149$. ![]() |

everyone finds stuff at winners except for me. my friends found Le creuset cookware at bargain prize. i went the other day but i was in a rush and did not have time to go through all the junk. but i will surely come back.
TNT is a new store from toronto that just opened in westmount. they brand themselves as the canadian barneys co-op which is this amazing store in new york city but way out of my budget. |

^^ miu miu sunglasses?! okay is there like a hidden counter that i am not aware of, because i've never seen brand-name sunglasses.
^ i've passed in front of TNT a couple of times before calories closed down for renovations (it was my favourite hang-out place ) and i was always tempted to go in! but i'm so scared of the prices so i just look at the window haha. it seems to have really nice stuff. |

i'm afraid of the prizes, too, but sometimes i can afford a piece, or manage to have it on my bday/xmas wishlist. OR i wait til the sales in december.
either way i like looking at nice clothes. one can always dream! |
