Anyone ever been to "Evil Sugar" ?
I think it's on either E 11th or E 12th.... I've heard about it several times, but have never had the chance to get my *** over to the LES...

I'm going to NYC on August 21 for a few days to go shopping for school. I'm going to need to speed shop so I need some of the natives' help. Where are the best places to go in these categories?
1. Consignment/Vintage clothing 2. Boutiques w/ up and coming designers 3. Discount designer stuff 4. Premium jeans 5. Any other of your fave stores Thank you SO much! ![]()

If you need shoes or sneakers or anything, walk down Broadway in Soho.. there are tons of shoe stores there... and always a sale going on.

I agree with Softie, on my short visit a few weeks ago, Century rocked my world... About Loehmann's, I can say that their selection down here in Miami is better...I didn't see anything from Dior Homme up there, that I see all the time down here, but the sizes down here are tiny as a coin .. You can find a lot of Chloe, Versace, Gucci, Dior stuff down here, in NYC, I just saw a lot of Miss Sixty, Juicy and Calvin Klein ![]()

disagree about Tokio7. I haven't had much luck there lately, and it is kind of out of the way shopping wise (with the exception of Amacord, another even more upscale resale shop, down the block which is probably could make the trip worth it), and very hit or miss. As far as other things to check out, I always would tell someone to visit Barney's. There is just so much in there, and it is all very New York. You mentioned premium denim, and you won't be disapointed at Barneys (Co-Op, I belive women's is floors 6 and 7, could be wrong though). Also, as far as discount designer is concerned, you will be here during the Barney's Warehouse sale, which is more than its cracked up to be, but still worth a trip. A lot of people still score pretty well on stuff. The 21st is during the fist week when the stuff isn't as picked over, but it also isnt as heavily discounted. Good luck, have fun. matt

Hey everyone! I am going to NYC this weekend for some shopping and wondered if you lovely fashionistas would be gracious enough to share your fav shops, places you think I HAVE to go to, ect... I am hitting Bergdorf's and Henri Bendel but apart from that I want to check out some cool shops (but being a retarded college student in the middle of nowhere I dont know where to go). I have no budget..
![]() Thank you guys! ::::looking forward to shopping spree::::

Try barneys...I think it's somewhere on madison avenue they usualy have quite a good selection and they are having several trunk shows very soon so it's possible that they will be able to special order items for you if you request it early enough and also have a look at the new Chanel store on 57th street I think that they have most of fall/winter in right now and maybe some cruise
