Tokyo sales
for any fashionspotters in the tokyo area, there is a store having a grand opening sale, and the prices are INSANELY cheap for some very interesting pieces. i picked up a long blouse that immediately reminded me of alexanfer mcqueen's new collection in cream, and some pants that are beautiful and fit like a dream, BOTH for 4,000yen ($40)!!! nothing is over 5,000. they even have 180$ imported necklaces going for about 2,000yen. everything is made in japan.

it's called "calle" and it's in harajuku. go down omotesando and turn at the small alley/street thats the one right before the kouban (across the street from kiddyland). go all the way down past "flower", dr martens, and fox stores, and its on the left with no store name, just signs announcing the grand opening sale (開店せール). it only goes til the 7th of sept! i am now thinking about going back and getting some more stuff...its too cheap to pass up!

I could certainly have a go at 10 Corso Como. Which I hear is better than Milan's.

Plus,Via Bus Stop and United Arrows. There are so many fabulous shops in Japan. More so than anywhere in the world.

I've heard Japan is pretty harsh during the winter. But then, my sorce on this is a big-time whiner, so I'd say go for it!

the CorsoComo 10/CDG may be the best shop on this planet...

off topic: my Japanese friends are arriving in Sept, i suspect they'll bring me a little something from CC10/CDG

it depends where you go in japan, coming in the winter would be fine. the weather isnt that harsh in tokyo, but i recommend you to come in the spring because of the beautiful cherry blossom petals that fall like snow everywhere.

I want to go so badly! I don't think I've ever heard about as much ambience and character in its clothing than 10Corso CDG.

I've noticed something about most of these shops and I'm not sure if its just a reflection of the enviroment and the people but alot of them seem to take alot of risks on what they carry. Its nothing like here in the U.S. where most everything is pretty much in safe mode.

the winters are cold, cold, cold. but it gives one a great chance to wear a pretty coat and a nice scarf ^^ also, if you stay a little after new years you will make it in time for the bargain sale for winter. it is NOT be missed!! for the summer bargain which just ended recently, i got a stephanie coudert dress for about $200!!! (along with so much other stuff i really needed a wheelbarrow to get it all in...)

it is a the CommeDesGarcons 6 floors emporium mishahoi,
in collaboration with the famous Milano concept store CorsoComo10.

not sure in which Tokyo area is located, but it must be hard to miss,
you can contact CDG headquarters to get more info

definitely you should. Harajuku store in particular.

I think mican is also a distributor of Erotokritos. (maybe)
