Shopping in Tokyo
I will be making a trip to Tokyo in a couple of weeks.

Will be checking out...
- CDG Aoyama
- Jan CDG
- 10 Corso Como / CDG
- Under Cover
- Lad Musician
- Dior Homme
- Number (N)ine
- The Viridi-anne
- Loveless
- Iseten MEN / CDG Corner

I'm also interested to check out other labels like Julius, CCP, Paul Harnden, Carpe Diem, Haute, Les Hommes... Any shop/boutique recommendations?

Apart from Julius and the other Japanese labels already mentioned, are there any other Japanese labels I should check out while I'm there? And where I can find them?

Thanks!!

Man of Moods gets a lot of coverage in Men's Non-no, so you might want to check them out.

Loveless sounds like a really cool concept store...does anyone have any further info, like what brands they carry, etc.?

I was there in Dec 2004, I remembered they carried labels like Cloak, Libertines. Quite a bit more, but I forget. It's a fantastic space...dark/goth feel.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

Lift Ecru/Etage looks amazing...saw some pictures of the place from another thread. Is it 2 different & separate store/space?

Hi M!

Lucky you!!! I grew up in Tokyo, but it's been years since I've been to Ginza. But from what I remember, Mitsukoshi, Matsuya and Wako are the exclusive department stores in Ginza. They're multi-leveled, and each level is jam packed with elite merchandise. I'm sure your father can find any luxury items you request in those stores. Here's a link to Mitsukoshi's website. Just a little FYI http://www.mitsukoshi.co.jp/

Happy souvenir'ing!!

Arthur, near CDG flagship, there are Ato and Space.
the store next-door to Space is Alain Mikli.
Chrome Hearts Tokyo (at the back of Blue Note) may be interesting even if you are not interested in the stuff.
also Henry Cuir is good in that sense.

around Julius, you can check new store "lift position", wjk, attachment, chausser.
I like Rip Van Winkle where Casey Vidalenc is available.

in my opinion, United Arrows Harajuku is the best store from every angle.
District United Arrows (also carrying Casey Vidalenc) is worth checking as well.

you can see how those stores look. so it may serve to find them much more than just a map.

I'm looking at the superfuture harajuku map, and there are like 3 United Arrows. Which is the Harajuku store you say is the best?

Tks.
