I love it! It`s so bad*ss. Love the black & white shot + the gold text. It never fails me!

KissMiss 28-03-2011 03:04 AM

he is totally scary but I like the cover...

Psylocke 28-03-2011 03:18 AM

My first reaction was "Ewwwww" because he's so unattractive  But then I took a closer look and I must say the cover is pretty cool. I like the golden font and you can't help but be interested in what all his tattoos say so I think he makes a good cover subject.
I like the colored inside pictures as well.

mikel 28-03-2011 04:03 AM

The cover is not bad but he is atrocious.

I don't have the slightest interest for Lil Wayne, what's the relevance of him being on Interview? The only thing I like is the masthead.

Isn't Interview primarily supposed to be a magazine on popular culture?

I think it's an interesting cover choice, he's one of the biggest artists around, has a new record out and just got out of jail. And Paris interviewing him makes for an interesting combination. I don't care for either of them much but they have both had their share of influence on popular culture so I think this fits Interview quite perfectly. And I like it, especially considering the influx of actors/actresses we get all the time.

vogue28 28-03-2011 05:43 AM

Oh, so he has a new record coming out? I guess I could accommodate that reason. Although I wasn't questioning his ability of being a worthy cover subject. Thanks for the enlightenment.

honeycombchild 28-03-2011 06:19 AM

I suppose he's there as he's actually a little bit of a different cover choice. Has he had a GQ or men's magazine cover anywhere along the line? Least it's someone new I suppose.

I can't look at Lil Wayne without thinking of Britain's Got The Pop Factor (... and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice) where they had a Lil Wayne rip off white rapper named 'R Wayne. That makes me laugh at least.

Cool masthead, but I have a feeling in person/print it's going to look a bit cheap.

Viewed large the cover image is quite beautiful. Love the contrast and how everything is in such sharp focus.

Yep, so I think it makes perfect sense for Lil' Wayne to be on the cover of Interview.
