How do you justify spending a lot on clothes and shoes, whenever you do?

How do you think you could and do (seriously and/or humorously) justify the indulgence of spending $10 000
(if say, you had to) as a good example, when going clothes and shoe shopping, which of course doesn't
buy as much as people think it does.

Yowza, do normal people spend $10 000 in one shopping day? I wouldn't justify that.. ever  I get it when somebody spend, say, ~$1000 on a bag, even though that is a great amount of money. You could save up to that amount of money relatively fast. But $10 000?! No way José.

I think a person would have to buy something really expensive, some jewellery out there is $10 000, otherwise it would be annoying to carry lots and lots of shopping bags full of stuff.

^Would it??

When I make a big purchase: I roll out the calender to make myself feel like I deserved it "Didn't pick up any clothing in a month? Well this makes up for it blah blah". But to me a big purchase is only several hundred dollars, we talking menswear and I have little fear about waiting till sales even if my size is popular.
