I'm sorry but the shadowing on Raquel's face is horrid, not to mention the hair akwardly placed over her face somehow ages her very badly in this image. What's even scarier is that usually everyone looks good in B&W....guess I was wrong.

I saw that on another site and overlooked it, thinking it was just mislabeled as Raquel :lol:
I agree with Dennis that although it's great to see her in a new campaign, it's not a very appealing ad. A complete waste of Raquel + Nick Knight imo. |
Boring, boring, boring campaign. And wow, they managed to make Raquel look ugly and forgettable. A difficult task.

for me, this is quite a letdown, to be honest. i dont find the picture timeless or 'marni' at all. maybe it's raquel, as i would imagine someone not so mainstream to represent the marni face and maybe it's nick knight. the image looks flat and even cheap. but maybe it will look better irl.

i actually don't dislike the campaign as i enjoy the simplicity. it actually kind of makes me think of the more recent balenciaga parfum ads with charlotte gainsbourg which were very straightforward....and even further something quite reminiscent of the old jil sander campaigns from the 90's.
