Was there ever an official name for this bag? I'm just wondering so I can change the title of this thread... ;)

I *think* LilyGirl has bought one...it's discussed in the Classic Black Bag thread,not sure what the name is,sorry^_^ .

this mystery has long been resolved so I don't think we need this thread.

I'm not aware of a name. more detailed info is in the classic black bag thread.

i bought one too. the SAs call it the "vintage tote". by the way i checked with them its a seasonal item and will not be repeated next season...

are you sure? the sa told me they are keeping it as a staple...

well at least thats what the SAs at the Sinagpore store said. Because a few others queried about the bag and hence they tried to order from paris but they can't cos Lanvin is not producing it anymore. Therefore they are trying to source from the other regions. But who knows? if it sells well... (it should!! its a lovely bag!)

The SA at Barneys said it is called the "Vintage Kentucky" bag. Weird name.

I checked the tag in mine and it is called the vintage kansas (kentucky -- how funny!) I've heard of other lines that have kansas bags and wonder if it's a specific style, like the boston.
