Kerastase for retail in Seattle?
Any fellow tfs'ers that live in Seattle know where I can purchase Kerastase haircare other than gene juarez? i refuse to give that company money.
Beauty&Co. used to exist on 8th Ave. NE in Bellevue and they sold it and it was great! They unfortunately went out of business or packed up/moved elsewhere. Thank you. |
Kerastase
Have any of you liked their products? Its extremely expensive but is it worth the price? I bought two things from them, the oleo relax serum and a hair mask that will be coming in the mail soon. Im gonna try these two out and see how well they work. Any of you had great results from it? or maybe bad? please share with me! I'd like to know more about this product. |
i would like to know as well....i've been thinking about getting some myself and indulging a little :)...
i've found that http://www.makeupalley.com has a lot of great reviews (even though it is a hair care company)..supposedly their volumizing shampoo ACUTALLY WORKS!! :o! |
The Masquintense made my hair goddesss-like but broke out my back. No amount of rinsing washed the silicon-y slickness off my skin. Now I'll only buy their leave-in conditioners. The products are expensive but last forever.

I use the oleo relax shampoo, conditioner and serum. I have had great results and my hair is a lot healthier since I have started using it. I also get the Kerastase conditioning treatment at my salon once every other month. So far I am happy with it!

My best friend swears by the stuff. It works well on dry, coarse hair.. I have used it for a few weeks now and I love it!!

My sis and I use it........i used to use the 'Soleil' shampoo, or sometimes the 'Oleo Relax' shampoo.........both with 'Oleo Relax' conditioner......and they were great but now my hairstylist told me to change to the 'Resistance' shampoo which is awesome and instead of a conditioner i got the 'Resistance Lipo Recharge' thing......that i haven't tried yet........i used a mask called 'Age Recharge' instead...........which i love as well..........it's good if you can't go to the salon and get the treatment ever week.....but i recommend goin cuz in order for the hair to become more healthy...you need to massage your head...........i'll try the Lipo tomorrow and tell ya how it is.
My sis uses the 'Reflections' Shampoo and conditioner as well as 'Chroma Reflect'......dunno what that's for though :P We both use the 'Oleo Relax' Serum......when we dry our hair or before blow dryin................we baught the 'Resistance Volumactive' mousse thing......that we haven't tried yet.......cuz we don't usually like curly hair.....just baught it incase we did :P They always use Kerastase products in fashion shows.........i always see their products like in the background of pics backstage.... and i think some great hairstylist use it.............so i think it's a great choice..........believe me it worth the money! |
Oh, they are the best, and they smell wonderful!!! I LOVE the nutri-sculpt serum, i can't live without it, and also the oleo relax oil. I totally recommend them. I don't find them expensive, maybe here in Greece they are not.

i love Kerastase also. i use the shampoo in the green bottle (is that the Resistance? i have so many products i forget the names) and the lait vital proteine conditioner and the masqueintense. i only shampoo my hair twice a month but i use the masqueintense at least twice a week.
|
Iīve used the Volumactive (I think thatīs what itīs called, itīs the one thatīs supposed to make your hair fuller at least :) ) and I loved it, it made my hair look fuller but still feel soft. Also it had a very nice but not too strong smell to it.

Ou it all sounds so good. Have any of you tried their new line its called age recharge? does it have to be for older people? because my hair hasnt been growing at all and its been through so much damage. I dont know if any of you are expertise in this but maybe you can help me a little bit in choosing the right stuff.
My hair is pretty thin and light weight and color treated I been coloring my hair since I was twelve and Im nineteen now so yeah hehe more than 10 times of coloring through out my life there. the top half of my hair is pretty healthy except for the bottom half of my hair which is really frizzy, dry, wavy, and poofy! I might want to try their shampoos and condish. But Im gonna see if the mask treatment works first but I'd would just like to know which line would be best for me? |
^ the Masquintense is a god-send. I usually haven't got time to condition my hair during the week. I use a dime-sized blob for about 10 min on Sunday ngihts and it leaves my hair really soft and shiny. Be careful to wash it all out though. And one jar really lasts for a long time.
I also use the Substane Constructive as a leave-in conditioner which is part of thier green line. It smells really good. |
sun goddess....i think you should use what i'm usin...........i have kinda the same problems you have.....and my stylist told me to use the resistance shampoo......and use the recharge as a conditioner.....cuz it has like a conditioner and a leave on conditioner that you apply after that...........he also told me to use the mask once a week.....cuz my hair is brutaly damaged.....the mask will last you about eight months.
you should try it......i've tried most of their products and they all worked great on me..........but the latest i got suit me the most. |
^hm okies I will definitely look those up, I've been trying to find good hair shampoo/condish and treatment but havent found the right one. Theres some that would work but only after a few months then I guess they just gave up on my hair hehehe.
