Is pretty nice, better than I expected.
Is this the first Dolce & Gabbana Cosmetic line?

This reminds me of a Tom Ford ad. Somehow it looks more like a lingerie ad if it weren't for the lipstick next to the company logo.
^ And yes, this is the first Dolce cosmetic line.

I thought the photographers for this campaign are Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott? No?

EDIT: Exactly, the ad reminds me so much of the Tom Ford Black Orchid fragrance ad they did.

TheItGirl 16-01-2009 10:01 AM

Not bad. I like the the contrast between the white background and red lips.

Miss Dalloway 16-01-2009 10:13 AM

Very Monroe. It looks good.

Street_a_Licious 16-01-2009 10:39 AM

i had no idea they were branching out to cosmetics...

cato. 16-01-2009 10:45 AM

^ yep, there's story called La Dolce Vita about it in the Febuary issue of US Vogue

haksare 16-01-2009 10:46 AM

It's actually pretty nice, but I would've loved for it to focus on her face, hence a cosmetics campaign. Otherwise, I agree, that it looks like a vintage lingerie ad.
