IvyStar, I asked for thick, medium distressed leather. I didn't want my BL bag to be too soft and slouchy. I wanted it to be sturdy and stiff, as I figured, I can always break it in to become slouchy after sufficient use. It's actually a matter of preference ... the leather in auth Bals also varies and some come with smooth, thin leather (so the bag is instantly slouchy) while others might have thicker leather. Which type of leather do you prefer?
Koalabear, I would pick Chanel GST. It's versatile and can be used for work or shopping. But I might be biased as I buy only Bal City bags (the WE will overwhelm me as I'm not tall). I imagine the WE would make a great travel bag though.
