mordant, I would definitely get to J Crew and see how they really fit! J Crew doesn't fit me at all ... as you know, Michelle Obama wears it a lot and there are tons of pix of her in it, but I don't think she wears the pants?
As far as interviewing, I (fan of separates that I am) put together unmatched suits. I also like the fact that doing that allows me a bit more scope ... I really hate the cookie cutter aspect of suits. Do you have either a jacket or skirt or pants that would work?
