So, just finished Tete-a-tete, and it was a very engaging read,
I'm glad I read it because I have always heard of the couple
Sartre and Beauvoir, and I used to picture them as this
beautiful and idealized love story, and from this book's perspective
they are obviously just as flawed as everyone else. I feel right now, like it's
hard for me to believe in fairytales, it makes me frustrated and envious,
and this portrait just humanized this story without making it less
beautiful.
