The speech was really awkward. Kate is trying too hard to be charismatic. I understand she has to be stately and all, but it was forced & the crowd was really buttering her up, just seemed a bit insincere. She doesn't have the same kind of public charisma that William and the other royals have. She should relax and be herself and the manner will follow naturally.
