I actually like that Alexa marches to her own drum, and her look at the MET when she wore that Phillip Lim tuxedo look is ICONIC imo because she is willing to take risks. When she does so, however, she risks things not working. And this year's MET look is an example of that. There is too much going on with the shirt, dress, hair, bag and shoes. Firstly I don't like the shirt under the dress. I don't like the hair either. And all of it together is too much. But I think there's a kind of cool juxtaposition of sexy school marm going on but it doesn't fully come off. Still she takes risks and personally I like that.
