Diane von Furstenberg (
http://cfda.com/the-latest/innovativ...t-reintroduced) has been speaking with members of Congress to advocate for the Innovative Design Protection Act, which would extend some intellectual property protections to fashion design. If I remember correctly, two years ago the Proenza boys and Vera Wang went down to DC to advocate for an earlier version of the bill.
