I wouldn't exactly call Kate success and appearing in fashion magazines luck but to each his or her own. She's for an SI covergirl is doing what other SI covergirls like Marisa (late
in her career), Irina, Bar, and Brooklyn couldn't do and that's being somewhat revelant in fashion.
I don't think Kate will walk for VSFS this year.
