Finally found my perfect winter coat from Marni. It's puffy AND plaid AND has fur trim, i.e. ticks all the boxes:

Finally, had to splurge on the Marc Jacobs pilgrim flats because they are just SO sparkly and purple. Hated the runway version but LOVE these:
