By the way my mother's friend (a very stylish woman in her 60's) was recently talking about the importance of "otonano kawaii"...adult cuteness. I love the idea.
We can still be adorable at any age, just probably not with the same clothes. And it's not mutually exclusive with being elegant at all, in fact one only enhances the other.
