Really? I've always gotten the impression that Bee Schaffer is a very pleasant and well-behaved girl, unlike her mother's caustic self. (Although I really wouldn't know for sure, since I don't know her, obviously!)
Also, while Bee Schaffer contributes to Teen Vogue, I would hardly term it as her "[having] her own magazine" - you know? Obviously, she got the job easily because of her mom's position, but it's not just her - there are many other teen contributors to Teen Vogue who hail from influential, wealthy, socialite backgrounds. What I'm trying to say is that it's not as if Bee's the only one who got in because of her privileged background. So, no biggie there.
At least we don't see Bee Schaffer being an attention-seeking, trashy, obnoxious tart in the New York scene, unlike some other young socialites.
That said, I do think Julia Roitfeld looks sensational! Definitely edgier and more exciting than prim Miss Schaffer.
