It is better to pack lightly!
It kills me to carry heavy things.
You never know when you will have to bring everything in a bag (like if you get kicked out of a place).
Of course, traveling is one of the best times to wear your pretty clothes
because if you are dressed in an odd way, you know you will be leaving that place anyway and so maybe never see those people who stare at you ever again.
I bring the lightest shoes I have. I always walk more when I travel... (fears of public transportation, ending up getting lost somewhere too far from your apartment)
I also wear something light, even on cool days, because when you walk and get lost, your temperature goes up...
I just keep it simple: long sleeve, undershirt, bottoms and several small underwears/socks. lol
And yes! I always think about how much I will be weighing
after shopping. So it helps to 'underpack'!
