I had a growth spurt between when I was 14 and 16, then pretty much stopped growing.
I was 5'2 when I started highschool and am 5'5" now.
Most girls level off growing around 16-17, but develop physically more (bust, hips).
I got a lot better muscle tone and definition after I stopped growing taller. Your body continues to mature after you stop growing taller. You can usually tell the age difference between a 15 and a 20 year old if you look at her arms. As you get older, you get to looking less gangly, usually...your muscles fill out, your bust becomes more prominent. Even if you are still very slim, you will look physically different after your body matures more.
