Id also go for something simple. This first outfit is quite reserved but I think you could make it really special with the right accessories and makeup. Maybe team it up with a vintage clutch and some elegant earrings. I thought these dewdrop earrings from anthropologie were great value. Adding little little touches of colour with your make up and accesories will really inject some life into an otherwise simple outfit.
The blouse in the second outfit is at the top end of you budget but at less than half price I think this is a great deal. I love the delicate lace round the neckline and the slight smock effect at the front.
Id team both outfits with these gorgeous pumps from Steve Madden. The bow on the side is a great detail.
