oh
SomethingElse some of the photos didn't show
I'm so glad you created a thread on her
I recently found out she died too.
I find her work very light and lovely
We had a lecture on her work in class last year--
my instructor was telling us how this theme of lightness, light passing through the threads, it's all about getting closer to spirituality, something more poetic
I like her words here
I find I would feel the same way too, if I left my home with just my sewing machine and yarns and dyes

“to seek a barer life, closer to reality, without all the things that clutter and fill our lives. The truest thing in my life was my work. I wanted my life to be as true. I almost gave up my life for my work, seeking a life of the spirit.”
