I kind of like it. I think it has certain elements that are signature Valentino, but done in a more subdued and more minimal way. This is Facchinetti, not Valentino. You can't expect any new designer at an established house to make carbon copies of the founding designers work....that would be pointless. The job of a new designer is to take the house's archives and incorporate it into their own aesthetic, not be slaves to the archives.
Plus, how can we judge her with two pictures? Let's wait until we see a few of her collections before we start making such final judgments!
