"Too manipulated," was my initial reaction to the 2004 Pirelli Calendar images. As is often the case with me, I wanted clarity. To see all of who and what was there when the photographer snapped the pic.
Upon my second, third and subsequent looks, however, I think this year's work is amazing. Each image was carefully constructed and at the moment of "perfection," was warped into a trippy
perspective of who and what was there.

www.pirellical.com* there's a 3-part documentary about the 2004 calendar. Being greedy, I still want to see the photos less amorphous also. But what the hell, it makes me think and in the long run that's more interesting. Nick Knight is fantastic.
The Adina (how cool is she) and Liberty Ross shots are brilliant.
