Hi Guys! This thread is so so very helpful!! So here's the deal, I'm hoping and crossing my fingers that I'll intern in NYC next summer (starting college this fall). When should I contact and apply to places like the Webster, Markle, and Brandon. From what I can tell, they have better rates than the NYU dorms, and just seem more pleasant, plus they provide meals for you (NYU it's an additional cost: $95/wk!!). Would somewhere between Jan-March be too late? I've heard they can be booked as much as a year in advance, but since I won't know about my internship til at least wintertime, I can't just go and apply early without having an internship in place!
