I give up on US Vogue. I really do. They lack any form of creativity with their covers. I recall seeing pictures in the summer of Reese in a gorgeous red ball gown shot in Paris for this issue and thought they might use one of them for the cover. Of course not. This cover looks like a spring or summer cover of some shlocky hairstyles magazine. They're so clueless. I'm just waiting for the next Keira Knightley cover cuz you know it's coming -- if not her, Paltrow! Ick. So disappointed. I've got boxes and boxes of US Vogues that I've saved dating back to 1980 and am so sadly reminded of how great this magazine and its covers used to be and the state this magazine is in today. I see old photos of Renee Simonsen and Kim Alexis (amongst many others) and they're wearing gorgeous make-up and jewlery and look incredibly stylish and then I look at the photo posted above and I'm simply horrified. What happened?
