These new rules concerning opening threads for new collections are effective IMMEDIATLY and must be followed as of now. All threads that do not adhere to these rules will be deleted.
In order to keep the threads on new collections as organized as possible and not fill up the first pages with off-topic discussions,
threads for new collections may not be started untill at least 1 clear runway, presentation or lookbook picture becomes available. This means that:
- Blurry pictures that do not clearly show the collection do not suffice to start a new thread. The clothes, or parts of the presentation (such as accessoiries, pictures of the designer's bow, shoes, or other close-ups) must be clearly visible at all times in the first picture.
- Backstage pictures are also not allowed as the first picture of a thread, unless they show the models fully dressed and made-up for the show.
- Quotes or comments on shows and collections via Twitter or any other source are not enough to start a thread.
- The only exception to all the above is when a fashion show is broadcast live on the internet. In this case, please add a link to where the show is being broadcast.
