I think high street fashion can be a good thing...it's just about all I can afford at this point in my life. I have to say though that the manufacturing conditions of a lot of these high street clothes does bother me. but there are fair trade options that are not necessarily 'knitted yohgurt' nor are they very expensive - I made a thread on it a few days ago which I think is relevant to this article:
