^ I did contact one of the mods the first time I had a post deleted that I knew wasn't off-topic. Unfortunately, she wasn't the mod who had deleted the post, so she referred me to the mod that had. I decided not to pursue it because, like I said, you have to pick your battles.
I guess what you're telling me is, only "reminders" can contain reference to the original post. That doesn't make sense to me if you want people to learn from the posts that have been deleted. Is there no way to refer to the actual deleted post in the PM?
