Last time I was in Paris I stayed in a little 3 star hotel called fertel etoile it was just 5mins walk away from l'arc, it was just off the street directly opposite to the champs elysees, I can't remember the name of the main street but the little one was the rue acasias?! It was friendly, clean and comfortable, and perfectly suited to what I wanted from it (a comfortable rest-stop) it had a nice little grocers one door down from it where I'd buy fresh fruit, veg and nuts to have for my lunch, and I'd eat out in the bistros nearby at night. I'm off again in a weeks time, but this time staying in a 2* hotel in the bastille region
we'll be there for bastille day too.
