i think lafindesiecle is right. you are better off hitting stores that you want to go to that are grouped together or right by tourist attractions to maximize your time.

i'd also try to not to spent too long in each store. try to plan it like a surgical strike! otherwise your husband/boyfriend is going to go nuts.
