I think fairytales are always a part of fashion. They bring whimsy or darkness and season after season can just be seen as a reinterpretation, ie you can have a collection that is directly influenced by a specific fairytale but then a collection might be a take on a 'modern fairytale' and to me fairtytales also tie in with medievalism and all that sort of thing
