Totally agree. She can usually carry off the unexpected with panache. I think this skirt is just an almost impossible piece to carry off though. With the heels it looks mismatched. With the hiptops it looked clunky. It has a kind of punky edge to it so maybe it needs a plain black top, black tights and some Demeulemeester boots or something. But even then it is a very difficult piece. I like that she takes risks though, even when they do not really work.
