ripped minis, uggs, flip flops, velour, off the shoulder, pastel colors,
streaked hair, tank tops, newsboy hats...... the list goes on.
these items are dominating all the shops
i
do not dress like this and i spend 60% of my time in LA ! i cant even tell the difference between high end and low end clothing anymore due to the awful mass production of reality tv, california bred, sitcom , hollywood teen, cosmo looks
all the shop windows look the same.....no matter the clientel. i stick out like a sore thumb when i wear a black taloired coat. nobody even wears shoes that cover their feet anymore! I esp. cannot imagine these looks to be reasonable in NYC.
sure i have some mini's but i pair them with nice flats or mid calf boots, and a nice tailored blazer. i hate this straight off the beach/ trash look, not to mention everything is pastel. I cant even shop anymore
seriously. thank god for the lady- like looks back in style, because i just took all my cocktail dresses from (my grandmother's closet ) to the tailor !
sinse i got the 80's out of my sysytem when it was actually in style, and on the runways, im so over many of the 80's looks, my closte is in the midst of a dramatic change
