Ya in terms of prestige of the past years and past campaigns' quality and work, Linda is the holy grail lool but Gisele is sort of the new Linda in a way when we compare her with the other tops of today since she has had impeccable runways' bookings, 1000000 covers and editorials (not just Vogue) and is today way more known than Linda for the general public.

I know right? Which is soooooo interesting and weird in a way. I mean I so agree that by now we would all think that Gisele and Kate would be considered "perfect" to cover Italian Vogue, but this is the thing, it requires a very special kind of model to do these covers, Kristen and Linda embody the Italian Vogue spirit. I just so love to see those details coz it so shows that you can be ubber cool/famous/sexy you're not considered right for some jobs

I sooooo believed Cindy had more than Naomi and I was right on a hunch héhé but I'm surprised Daria didn't have more (but now I get it since you based your stats on the 4 well known Vogue editions). In reality I dream to see a board of every Vogue and every top model and to see who's first with all the Vogue combined (supplements+beauty+multiple issues' covers+reprints+many models in one shot) since we can't just consider Linda and the big 6 + the new top models of today, there's also the big models from the 50's until the 80's and Linda's era. But thanks sooooo sooo much for everybody's work, I love this thread.
ps: so shocked of Alek Wek's Vogue covers: only two and both in groups!
and I also have to agree on the number of black models on Vogue and Asian too, even in their own countries, their editors don't support them.. gosh
