A little off topic but does anyone else miss the days when what characters looked like in a film was a big mystery until the first trailer came out? Nothings sacred any more, kind of ruins the anticipation a little.

*raises hand* TBH, I'm kind of ambivalent because sometimes I like to see pictures when I'm really anticipating a film like "Atonement" a few years ago, and most recently "The Avengers" (though they've been very good keeping that all under wraps; at least I haven't seen anything). On that same note, does anybody miss the days when trailers DIDN'T reveal the whole doggone story and left key elements/twists a secret til you got to the theather?
