But my guess is McQueen is now expanding their campaign because they have to, in order to keep business going. They probably feel that more advertising is necessary now for competing with other fashion houses. I think because now there is not just print advertising but digital advertising, McQueen no longer feels comfortable with just coverage in editorials and its pieces being worn by public figures. Had Lacroix adapted and become more commercial, perhaps they would have never gone under.
hmm. i might be wrong, but i don't think McQueen has been able to sell a lot, back in the days, did he?
